This free release is a community preview release for non-commercial use (licence here). To provide a better support and allow more precise feedback by our users, this version of OPA contains tracing code which slows down both the compiler and the web applications created with this version of OPA.

You want to start an open source project in OPA? We can help you with support, additional tools and versions and other niceties, so please contact our R&D team.

If you need faster versions ready for production use and able to scale up with automatic distribution, IDE integration (for instance with Eclipse), please contact our sales department.

  • What's coming next

First, thanks for all remarkably good internship applications we received. All positions are now taken, and our whole team is now working on exciting new features.

The next version of OPA, scheduled for the end of March, will feature an extended, much improved standard library. We're also working on building a faster compiler and we hope it will be ready in time to be included in this next release. Stay tuned!
